DM Collector is a web service with open RESTful API installed at customer premises. It can stream live data from various data sources including Historians (IP21, PI, Wonderware, eDNA,…), LIMS, MES, ERP, RDBMS, IoT sensors, PLC, DCS, connectivity platforms.
Jobs are used to automate data preparation and schedule, at regular intervals, predefined requests on standard DB and stream it to a dedicated destination (e.g. a Lake). It publishes prepared data to DM Lake or DM Analytics.
Collector services installed in several plants can feed the same Lake allowing easy access to data available at different locations.
